A Ripon College student was physically harassed late on September 3rd.
A student was physically harassed on Sept. 3 around 10:40 p.m. on Thorne Street between Scott and Mapes Halls.
The harasser was described as a Caucasian male, around 20 years old. He was reported as 6 feet tall, clean-shaven, with short dark hair. It is believed that he was not a student at Ripon College.

The man was first seen in the trees behind Mapes Hall, after approaching the student, he ran off toward I-Lot near Kemper Hall.
Mark Nicklaus, the Director of Residence Life notified the students about this incident via an email this evening around 7:00 p.m.
“Ripon College has been in contact with the Ripon Police about this incident. Ripon Police is increasing their presence and patrols around the College. Campus Security will also be increasing patrols around campus,” he wrote in his email to the campus.
